To prepare for the workshop, you will need some funky fruit! 🍇

During our first session we will express through wild, spontaneous and free intuitive painting. Exploring mark making, tissue paper collage and colour to create the grounds for our funky fruits...
This will be followed, on day 2, by a more considered process of observing the fruit and incorporating the shapes & designs into our artworks.

interactive community

I am thankful for the lessons nature teaches me about generosity and patience. In the spirit of gratitude and giving, I am delighted to share this workshop with you.
The intuitive painting process; layering paint, splashing, dripping & making spontaneous marks is liberating. The exciting energy that is created through letting go and exploring freely enlivens our artworks.
The elements of mystery and surprise that emerge through playful & curious exploration lead us to new creative horizons...
I chose fruit as our subject for this workshop with the intention of focusing our gratitude, love, awe and wonder on mother nature and her bountiful nourishing gifts.
With Love

Gabbi Kitchener (formerly Lancaster)
I am an artist and enjoy working in an intuitive and spontaneous way.
For almost 20 years, I have been teaching children & adults, supporting them to connect to their own creativity and artistic freedom. I have worked with thousands of people and have witnessed their personal transformations.
My personal creative journey has been an awakening and deepening of perception and sensitivity. I'm delighted by the moments, glimpses, of being in an altered state, meditative and dreamy... I love that mysterious feeling.
I strive to create an environment that will support each participant and their unique process.
My intention is to be completely open and to freely spread the positive effect that living creatively can have on us.
I truly believe that every one of us is a creative being. Nourishing and nurturing this in ourselves can enhance our lives and those around us.

A Reverie
The sacredness of that initial shoot…
The unfurling of possibility
With which love and patience,
becomes the jewel,
Hues of bright yellows, reds, purples, oranges,
Intermingled with the lime green vine that feeds and nurtures,
until it’s ripe for the picking …
That first inhale,
a delicate hint for what’s to come…
transports us back to the earth from which it was nestled …
And that exquisite taste that tells one’s palette with complete certainty,
Natures generous gifts have arrived in abundance.
